As a locally rooted business, we feel a call to make Springfield the best it can be. Our passion for this community goes far beyond delivering reliable internet—it’s about showing up for our neighbors. We’ve proudly supported United Way of the Ozarks since our inception and have been recognized as the top employee-only funded campaign for several consecutive years. In 2025, City Utilities employees celebrated over 80 years of support for United Way by raising an impressive $185,541 through personal pledges and special fundraising events.
Each year, we select an additional local nonprofit to dedicate our volunteer hours and charitable giving. In 2026, we’ve chosen to focus our efforts on Project SHARE. Project SHARE is a community program that provides utility bill assistance to local households facing financial hardship. Funded by donations from caring individuals and businesses, Project SHARE helps keep the lights on, the heat running, and the water flowing when unexpected challenges arise.
